Dr. Javier Beut is a prominent and accomplished medical professional with a diverse background and numerous achievements:
Born in Barcelona, Dr. Beut began his educational journey at the French School in Barcelona and later pursued a degree in medicine at the Central University of Barcelona. During his medical studies, he gained valuable experience as an assistant with a maxillofacial surgery team.
Dr. Beut continued his education by training as a plastic surgeon in Italy, specifically at Legnano Hospital, which is associated with the University of Milan. His mentor during this period was Prof. Morelli, Ezio.
His current specialties include Oculoplastic Surgery, highlighted by the Beut & Jelks Symposium in 2010, and Rhinoplasty Surgery. He is an active member of various professional associations, such as the Rhinoplasty Society in the USA and the European Rhinoplasty Society.
Dr. Beut’s passion for education is evident in his role as a guest professor at different universities, with the University of Stanford in California being a notable institution he has visited since 2002. He has also conducted lectures and training sessions with Plastic Surgery residents.
In the academic realm, Dr. Beut has numerous scientific publications to his name, with one notable work titled “Volumizing Viaducts of the Midface: Defining the Beut techniques.” He has also contributed to surgical manuals, including the “Cleft & Lip Manual CPM,” and collaborated on the book “Centrofacial Rejuvenation” by Tonnard & Verpaele.
Outside of his clinical practice and teaching, Dr. Beut serves as a Medical Consultant for the company 3Dtech, where he has developed 3D Interactive software called the “Beut & Jelks Oculoplasty App.”
Currently based in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, Dr. Beut operates the Continuing Medical Education academy and collaborates with his mentor and partner, Dr. Jelks, in organizing the “Beut & Jelks Symposium” in Palma de Mallorca, Spain.
Beyond his professional work, Dr. Beut has been actively involved in humanitarian efforts since 1989 and currently serves as the President and founder of the foundation “Cirujanos Plastikos Mundi,” which supports medical initiatives in the Third World.
Dr. Beut is multilingual, fluent in Spanish, English, French, and Italian, showcasing his international reach and impact in the field of plastic surgery and medicine.
